Revenue has released a new eCG50 – Guide for Applicants Manual to provide guidance on the new online CG50 application processing system that is now available on ROS. This is a development practitioners sought at TALC given the time sensitive nature of CG50 applications. The new system allows both online filing by vendors applying for an eCG50A certificate, and purchasers filing an eCG50B form. Solicitors submitting applications must be registered for a ROS Transaction Advisor Identification Number certificate (a solicitor’s TAIN). When solicitors are submitting applications on behalf of multiple vendors or purchasers, they will need to be linked to all vendors or purchasers in that application.
