In compiling the awards an independent team from Corporate INTL carried out an extensive research process over the past 6 months, which involved external nominations being accepted from people involved in advising, running or investing in businesses. They built a provisional shortlist of potential winners for the category from that information and an independent judging panel then decided on the most appropriate firm to be awarded.
