More charity regulation continued in 2019 and it is more important than ever for trustees to stay up to date with new obligations. If your charity has not finished its preparations for implementing the Charities Regulatory Authority Governance Code it is important to do so as soon as possible. Charities must have put the necessary policies and procedures in place, and have finalised their Compliance Record Form, during 2020. In 2021 charities will need to certify to the CRA that they complied with the Code in the 2020 period.
