The Department of Finance/Department of Justice recently conducted a joint consultationon Member States discretions on the transposition of the 4th EU Anti-Money Laundering Directive and Funds Transfer Regulation “the AML Package”.

The Directive includes requirements to have central registers of the beneficial ownership of trusts and of corporate and legal entities.
