A new database of Ireland’s charities and other non-profit organisations (NPOs) has been launched by Benefacts, a non-governmental organisation that provides free public access to extensive information about the entire non-profit sector in Ireland.
The database is a very useful resource which assists in ensuring full transparency of charities and other NPOS in Ireland. The information has been accumulated from a number of sources including the Revenue Commissioners, the Charities Regulatory Authority and the Companies Registration Office.
