In a detailed submission about the tax appeals process to the Tax Appeals Commission (TAC) the ITI called for significant changes to be made to the regime.
The submission highlighted the myriad difficulties taxpayers are currently experiencing with the appeals process and outlined proposals for addressing these issues. The lengthy delays often experienced by its members at all stages of the appeals process is causing financial cost, stress and worry for taxpayers.
